The People’s Paper Co-op rapidly adapted their fellowship to the COVID-19 crisis, meeting with their powerful group of formerly incarcerated women over the phone and online. All their work paid off, and this Mama’s Day Bailout saw amazing wins.
Through purchases of original artwork, you helped the People’s Paper Co-op Fellows raise over $43,000 to bring mamas home safely to the communities that need them. Between March 16 and May 5 alone, your purchases of artwork and donations to the Philly Community Bail Fund helped to free 134 neighbors.
