People’s Paper Co-op Breaks Their Previous Fundraising Record for Mama’s Day Bailout
“This Fellowship taught me how far I have come, how much farther I can continue to go. I’ve overcome fears and for the first time in my life, became part of a movement. I’m so proud. We had a baby, we overcame illness … You all are my friends, my family, my comrades, my support system.”
— Lisa, PPC Fellow, Spring 2020
The People’s Paper Co-op rapidly adapted their fellowship to the COVID-19 crisis, meeting with their powerful group of formerly incarcerated women over the phone and online. All their work paid off, and this Mama’s Day Bailout saw amazing wins.
