Brittany Holiday is a youth & community advocate who currently serves as the Director of Graduate Support at Hope Partnership for Education, a small private education center in North Philadelphia.
She works with the 5th through 8th grades around High School preparedness/placement, and offers guidance and a comprehensive support system to Hope alumni with college and career readiness.
She is a graduate of the University of Delaware, where she studied Black American Studies and Political Science. After studying abroad in Ghana, she became the Community Outreach intern for the Darfur Alert Coalition, which led to two years of service with the AmeriCorps program, City Year Greater Philadelphia.
Brittany is a founding member of Rising Queens LLC and serves as the Director of Operations, providing after-school youth programming and retreats, community service events, and leadership development opportunities.
In addition to the board of The Village, Brittany also serves on the Board of Directors of the McNamee Scholars Program and OnesUp (formerly Rising Sons). She is also a member of the Nativity Miguel National Graduate Support Council and has shared her work around Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion to various groups. Her passion for youth, education, art, and generational community empowerment have encouraged her to produce her own artwork through Joyful Soul Designs, LLC – providing custom handlettering/calligraphy design, artwork, murals, and face painting.
