Creative Campus is the Village’s plan to optimize the use of its campus of 10 buildings and 15 art parks in order to reinforce and expand its organizational capacity and host organizations, artists and creative entrepreneurs that share the Village’s belief that art can transform lives and communities. The Village activates its unique space and leverages resources to initiate meaningful partnerships and incubate fledgling organizations and businesses. This contributes to the success and vitality of artists and organizations that wish to conduct their work in North Philadelphia while increasing services to residents and youth.
The Village Heart
Our campus includes: two community media labs with 25 computers hosted in partnership with the Free Library’s Hot Spots, the Village Clay Workshop building, a dance studio, a sound-recording booth and photography studio, two artist live-in residency spaces, a community work hub, a community storefront and a quarter-acre urban farm. We leverage our properties and shared space to host likeminded partners who provide invaluable services to our community. Past and current partners including Spells Writing Lab, KMC hoops, Digital Connectors, and Free Library Hot Spots, tinyWPA, Mural Arts and others.
We welcome inquiries from organizations, individuals, artist and small businesses wishing to join our community and work together—with, for and as neighbors to the community we serve.
