Lillian Dunn is an artist and cultural organizer who connects diverse audiences for meaningful experiences.
Lillian Dunn previously spearheaded The Village’s SPACES Artist-in-Residence Program, which matches visiting artists with community members in North Central Philadelphia to create innovative solutions to neighbor-identified challenges.
A graduate of Swarthmore College, she studied community literary projects in Argentina as a Fulbright scholar before returning to Philadelphia, where she co-founded APIARY, a free local literary magazine. Now in its 9th year, APIARY has a circulation of 30,000, a volunteer staff of 10 and showcases the best writing by Philadelphians across lines of race, class, education and generation. She is a 2019 Velocity Fund recipient and two-time Leeway Art and Change Grant recipient.
