June 8, 2010— Mayor Nutter addressed questions from a live studio audience of Philly
youth ages 15-21 including our own Sherrieff, Asil and Leon. They asked engaging

The Village of Arts and Humanities (The Village) is a multifaceted arts organization dedicated to community revitalization through the arts. The need for a new urban landscape in 1986, spawned the Village of North Philadelphia.

The Village is 12 art parks, an afterschool program, and a vision.

Placing art in vulnerable places and art making is key to improving the lives of
vulnerable people. We maintain over 1.1 million square feet of vacant land
in North Philadelphia.
